House of Vans and Calvert 22 Foundation have joined forces to bring the UK Premiere of When the Earth Seems To Be Light a coming of age documentary about a group of young skaters, artists and musicians in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia, a city of contradictions and upheavals.

Accompanying the launch of Museum of Skateboarding as part of Calvert 22's Power and Architecture exhibition, this poetic documentary provides a close look at the rich world of teenager dreams and sentiments, being lost searching for non existing spots of freedom and romantic state of minds.

The screening will be hosted in our 100-seat cinema space; the event is free but with booking required; a very limited number of walk in tickets will be available on the day, on a first come, first served basis.
