Skatepark:

How do I book a free Skate or BMX session?

  • If you want to book a free skate or BMX session, please follow this link. Upon RSVP you will receive a confirmation email with your ticket. Please report to the main reception area at House of Vans to gain entrance into the park. Note booking is advised but not mandatory as we always hold a number of walk-in tickets on the door.

How long is each session?

  • There is no minimum time for a session, however we advise you take a break every two hours. All riders are welcome to access the skatepark freely within their allotted time.

– Do you host mixed Skate and BMX sessions?

  • We do not host mixed sessions. We have sessions specifically allocated to BMXers. Check our booking page to find out when these are on.

How many friends can I bring with me?

  • You can book two tickets at one time, however we always hold a number of walk-in tickets on the door so others can gain entry without booking

– Is it free?

  • Yes, entry into the venue is free for all, this includes skate and BMX sessions.

Do I need to wear a helmet or pads to access the skatepark?

  • Wearing helmets or pads is not mandatory, although we highly recommend it for health and safety reasons.

Can I rent a board or helmet from the skatepark?

  • No, we have no rental facilities, please bring your own board and helmet.

Do you have lockers where I can secure my belongings?

  • Yes, please be advised that House of Vans is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings.

Do I need to sign a disclaimer?

  • Yes, the disclaimer form is available for download on the booking page, you will need to fill it in and bring it with you on your first session. Alternatively you can complete a hard copy at the House of Vans reception. If you are under 18 please have a parental guardian complete the form on your behalf.

What if I want to cancel my skate session?

  • If you can’t make it to the session, you don’t need to cancel online. We reserve the right to reallocate your reservation to a walk in customer.

Are rollerbladers and scooters allowed?

  • The park is only for skateboard and BMX use.

How do I book a place at the Skateboard School?

  • The skateboard school takes place on Saturday and Sunday mornings, each session will last one hour. If you want to book a lesson at the Skateboard School please follow this link. Upon RSVP you will receive a confirmation email with your ticket. Please report to the main reception area at House of Vans to gain entrance into the park.

– Is the Skateboard School free?

  • Yes, the Skateboard School is free.

Is there an age restriction for the Skateboard School?

  • Yes, minimum age is 5+

Do I need my own board or protection for the skateboard school?

  • No, if you don’t have a board or helmet/pads these will be provided for you.
Music:

How can I get a ticket to an event?

  • For any event advertised on the website there will be an opportunity to RSVP online or on your phone via the Queue app. Be sure to keep checking our music page for up and coming events. Tickets will be distributed on a first come firs serve basis.

Is every music event free?

  • Yes, all music events at House of Vans will be free

– Are there opportunities to play or book a private show?

  • Submit your request/proposal via the contact email on our website, we will get back to you at our earliest convenience.

How can I receive a newsletter or updates about any up coming events?

Cinema:

Keep checking the film on the website for weekly updates of what will be showing.

How do I book a reserve in the cinema?

  • Access to the cinema is free and is based on a first come first serve basis. If we have a private screening you can reserve a seat via the Queue app.

Is the cinema free?

  • Yes, the cinema is always free

How can I show my film or screening there?

  • Submit your request/proposal via the contact email on our website, we will get back to you at our earliest convenience.

    • Yes, attendance to our workshops is always free. Booking may be required depending on the workshop.
