Mylon D Brixton born and bred Mylon D has long been a fixture on the London music scene with his Sweet Memory Sounds club night alongside Dj Derek at Notting Hill arts Club. Expect a wide range of musical styles from hip hop, reggae, funk, breaks and more from this London legend. Dj Barely Legal  London based DJ Barely Legal is one of the fastest growing talents in British clubland. Her selection of rugged and varied styles of electronic music has earned respect from luminaries such as Marcus Nasty and Scratcha DVA, who broadcast her mixes on the notorious Rinse FM. She has also worked with Grime Godfather Wiley, who invited her to play at his Eskimo Dance and MC’d over one of her Daily Dose mixes alongside the formidable Scratchy, Riko Dan and God’s Gift. We are stoked to present Dj Barely Legal at the public opening of House of Vans London, a rising star who's set is not to be missed! Infinite Livez (Berlin) Born in Bethnal Green and residing in Berlin, Infinite Livez in a one of a kind: an incredible MC and producer who makes beats live while delivering high octane, razor sharp raps, all live, much of it improvised. Signed to Ninja Tune imprint Big Dada he has worked with producers as diverse as Swiss avant pioneers Stade and Gold Panda. He also makes comic books, short films and soft toys, puts out his own improvised noise CDs, designs Gameboy graphics, is an illustrator and a former FKO Raw Freestyle Battle Champ. Channel One Sound System  Formed in 1979 by Mikey Dread and his brother Jah T, Channel One Sound System are undisputed heavyweights of reggae sound system culture. Making it their mission to break down barriers with Reggae music, they have brought their sound system to many across the world from London, Jamaica, America, Europe, South America and beyond. After decades of pleasing music lovers everywhere, Channel One were winners at the Red Bull Culture Clash at Wembley Statdium in 2012 where they competed against Major Lazer and Annie Mac Presents. Tonight we will be in the presence of greatness. Livin' Proof Livin' Proof are at the forefront of the London club scene and champions of hip hop. The dj collective comprised of Rags, Khalil, Snips and Budgie host their regular night in East London's London's Village Underground that enjoys a quasi religious following. Over the past few years the crew have broken ground for international artists, being the first to bring A$AP Rocky and Danny Brown to the UK and have hosted parties for the likes of Hudson Mohawke, Jay Electronica, Pharoahe Monche, Frank Ocean, Slum Village, Raekwan and Kelis. Alexander Nut  As co-head of acclaimed London label Eglo, and long-running host of balmy Saturday afternoon sessions on Rinse FM, Alexander Nut has become famed for his wide ranging approach to selection. The sounds covered both by his label and his show are defiantly unhindered by genre, searching instead for a common atmosphere to bind the music together. “I’m a vibes person,” he agrees. “I don’t really plan things too much, I always just go off the vibe of what’s going on.” The 2 Bears The 2 Bears are a collaboration between producer Raf Rundell, co-founder of the 1965 label, and Joe Goddard of Hot Chip. The two crossed paths while DJ'ing a London party hosted by the latter's Greco-Roman Soundsystem collective. Later the duo teamed to host Follow the Bears, a program for Ministry of Sound Radio, and went about replicating some of the Detroit techno and Chicago house they had been playing, with Goddard making beats and Rundell singing. During 2010 and 2011, they released four EPs on Southern Fried. Be Strong, their first album, appeared in January 2012 through Southern Fried in the U.K. and DFA in the U.S. In 2014 they've played major shows at Glastonbury, Green Man and Ibiza Rocks and we're super excited to welcome them to House of Vans London.   Music
