returns to House of Vans on the 9th of May with an exclusive screening of Olivia Lichtenstein's documentary Teddy Pendergrass: if you don't know me charting the career of the first male African American artist to record five consecutive platinum albums against the backdrop of 1960s America and his comeback after a life-changing accident.
And that's not all...back by popular demand, for the occasion Commune have joined forces with an up and coming illustrator to create an exclusive poster artwork.
For this event, they've enlisted the skills of Natalee Miller, an American artist who draws inspiration from nostalgic moments in fashion, sci-fi and more. A limited number of prints will be available on the night for the first guests through the doors.
The screening will be hosted in our 100-seat cinema space. A very limited number of walk-in tickets will be available on the day, on a first come, first served basis.
The event is free with booking required.
